FORUM OF GEORGIAN SCIENTISTS WORKING ABROAD
Batumi hosted forum of Georgian Scientists living and working abroad. 17 successful Georgian scientists working abroad and 80 researchers working in Georgia were participating. The forum aimed at attracting scientific potential existing abroad back to Georgia, developing research activities in the country with the help of their experience and contacts and strengthening prospects for future collaboration. GCCEC director Prof. Alexander Sharmazanashvili did presentation about participation of Georgian engineers in international collaborative projects at CERN - European Organization for Nuclear Research, Geneva, Switzerland. It was considered results of involvement in this collaboration of Georgian Technical University, starting from 2009 - preparation of masters training program and case study about formation path of Nikoloz Tsutskiridze, student of Georgian Technical University who's passed all the stages of program and successfully prepared his dissertation at CERN in 2012
